Sheldon Riley has been crowned the winner of Eurovision – Australia Decides during the Live TV Final on SBS on Saturday 26 February. The 22-year-old avant-garde performance artist took to the stage to perform his song Not The Same alongside some of Australia’s biggest names in music. Blink TV's coverage of Eurovision 2014 for SBS TV Australia is our biggest year to date! After years of persistence, we have been instrumental in getting Australia to perform at Eurovision. Last night’s coverage of the Grand Final of the 59th Eurovision Song Contest attracted a combined average Metro and Regional audience of 618,000 and a peak audience of 927,000. The Grand Final also had an average Metro audience of 476,000 and a peak audience of 652,000 and an average Regional audience of 142,000 with a peak of 275,000.
