French-born Guillaume Brahimi, one of Australia’s most popular and acclaimed chefs will be making recipes to inspire and connect you with France and the areas the Tour passes through, as well as taking time to sip wines and reminisce along the way.
Guillaume says, “As the Tour makes its way around France, we are going to celebrate what the French call savoir vivre, how the French live life. Making great food and sharing it is one of the foundations of French culture. We may not be able to travel to France at the moment, but I’m so excited to show you how to find authentic tastes and experiences right here in Australia, and make what I consider to be classic French dishes even more special using magnificent Australian produce.”
Blink TV have been commissioned by SBS TV to produce the 21 x 4 minutes episodes.
Paul Clarke, Director of Blink TV and Executive Producer of ‘Plat du Tour’ said, “Guillaume is a natural on TV, we’re sure audiences will love him. He is handsome, a magician with food and he has a cheeky sense of humour. The weeks in his kitchen making this series had us all enthralled!”
The postponed 107th Tour de France is taking place from Saturday 29 August through to Sunday 20 Sep 2020 from Nice to Paris.
