Stephanie Werrett – Head of Production, Blink TV

Stephanie Werrett is a highly qualified and experienced production and broadcast professional. She has managed a diverse range of content and projects from documentaries, prime time TV specials and studio based shows, through to major outside broadcasts and large scale events.

Stephanie’s production, budget and logistical expertise has been honed over many key operational and management roles on major international sporting and political events, including the Commonwealth Games in Melbourne 2006, the Asian Games in Doha 2006, APEC 2007 in Sydney and the London Olympics in 2012. She has also worked on the Eurovision Song Contest from 2009 to 2014 for Blink TV and SBSTV putting her event knowledge to work whilst delivering content and commentary from the venues. This culminated in her producing a live interval act at the Contest in Copenhagen in 2014 when Australian performer, Jess Mauboy performed at the Contest.

In television Stephanie has managed a wealth of TV specials and documentaries, including ‘Bombora: The Story of Australian Surfing’ with Paul Clarke, ‘Brilliant Creatures’ for the ABC and BBC, a number of complex and highly logistical shows shot on the road with fast turnaround, including ‘The Road to Eurovision with Julia Zemiro’ in 2012 and ‘The Heart of Eurovision’ in 2013, and she managed the delivery of a rocket flight over Sydney Harbour for ‘Rocket Compulsion’! In entertainment Stephanie has managed broadcast and logistics for Elaine Paige’s 40th Tour, the launch of ABC3, cinema coverage of Andre Rieu’s Maastricht concerts from the Netherlands, Tropfest 2013 from Centennial Park, as well as a major show with Culture Club and the Pet Shop Boys.

As a Director of Blink, she brings strong business and budget management, plenty of ideas and energy.
