Eurovision Song Contest 2017 – Semi-Final Allocation Draw

Australia will participate in Eurovision 2017, and on Tuesday 31st January we will find out which Semi-Final we will complete in. In Eurovision 2016 in Stockholm, Dami Im represented Australia in the second Semi-Final. All the details for this year’s Semi-Final Allocation Draw are below.

The Semi-Final Allocation Draw, to determine which country will participate in which Semi-Final of the 2017 Eurovision Song Contest, will take place in the Column Hall of Kyiv’s City State Administration at 11:00 CET on Tuesday 31st January.

Representing Stockholm, Eva-Louise Erlandsson Slorach, President of Stockholm City Council will present the Host City Insignia to Vitalii Klychko, Kyiv City Mayor. During the ceremony, there will also be a short speech from Executive Supervisor Jon Ola Sand, EBU.

NTU hosts will take us through the very important Semi Final Allocation Draw. ESC 2016 winner Jamala and the ESC 2004 winner Ruslana will do a welcoming address. Jon Ola Sand and Thomas Niedermeyer will oversee the draw.
